Greetings from Centre for Peace and Development Initiatives, (CPDI).

 

The latest issue of CPDI RTI Newsletter is in front of your eyes. Civil society efforts for the implementation of newly adopted right to information laws continue in Pakistan along with political advocacy for the repeal of Freedom of Information Ordinance 2002 and its replicas in Sindh and Balochistan. CPDI launched research report pertaining to the state of right to information in Pakistan and Digital Rights Foundation, a member organization of Coalition on Right to Information, (CRTI) launched study pertaining to the status of proactive disclosure of information by Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa public bodies as dictated by relevant provisions of their right to information laws.
