Disclosing RTI statistics does not in any manner jeopardise national security – external or internal

The Times of India carries a news report about the non-compliance of well known security and intelligence organisations with their obligation of reporting RTI applications statistics to the Central Information Commission (CIC) in India. The streak of comments that followed the news article seemed that they believe that Intelligence agencies should not be brought with the purview of the RTI Act. Here is Mr. Venkatesh Nayak's reply.
